Two Models H20 (triple sensor) And H20T (Quad Sensor With Thermal)
Compatible With DJI Matrice 300 RTK
Delivery Across 14+ Countries With Export Documentation
The DJI Zenmuse H20 Series is DJI's first hybrid multi-sensor solution, redefining what a single drone payload can deliver. It combines multiple sensing technologies into one integrated system, providing unprecedented aerial imaging capabilities for a wide range of commercial drone applications. Operators can capture detailed imagery up close or from a distance, in true-colour or thermal, while simultaneously collecting laser-measured distance data for every point of interest.
Two models cover the complete range of inspection, surveillance, and public safety requirements. The Zenmuse H20 integrates a 20MP zoom camera, 12MP wide-angle camera, and a 1,200-metre laser rangefinder into a single compact payload, delivering three sensing functions without payload swapping. The Zenmuse H20T expands this capability with a 640 × 512 radiometric thermal camera, enabling temperature measurement, heat anomaly detection, and thermal target identification alongside the complete visible-light and laser rangefinder functionality.
As a powerful integrated payload, the DJI Zenmuse H20 Series unlocks advanced intelligent capabilities for DJI industrial drone platforms. It remains one of the most widely deployed solutions for inspection, asset monitoring, and surveillance missions across industries including mining, energy, public safety, and critical infrastructure. aerosmart supplies and supports both Zenmuse H20 Series models as an authorised DJI dealer, providing expert configuration advice and comprehensive after-sales support.
Sensor, zoom, thermal, rangefinder, and platform compatibility at a glance.
The DJI Zenmuse H20 Series was built on a single operational principle: no mission should require a payload swap to switch between wide-scene overview, close-detail zoom inspection, precise distance measurement, and thermal anomaly detection. All of these capabilities are available simultaneously from a single payload slot on every flight.
Zoom Camera – 20MP, 23× Hybrid Zoom, 4K Video
The H20 Series zoom camera delivers 20 megapixels of resolution across a 23× hybrid zoom range, extending from a 31.7 mm equivalent wide angle to a 556.2 mm equivalent telephoto reach. At maximum zoom, operators can identify electrical infrastructure faults, read vessel markings, and document structural anomalies on bridges and buildings while maintaining a safe operational distance.
4K video at 30 fps through the zoom camera maintains the image quality required for inspection documentation and evidence-grade surveillance across the entire zoom range. Night Scene Mode further improves low-light performance, making the H20 Series ideal for early morning, late evening, and other inspection periods when thermal gradients are most valuable for fault detection.
Wide-Angle Camera – 12MP, 82.9° DFOV
The 12MP wide-angle camera provides the scene context that zoom-only operation cannot deliver. With an 82.9° diagonal field of view, it captures the complete operational environment in a single frame, giving pilots and inspectors the situational awareness needed to stay oriented throughout every inspection while avoiding the tunnel vision associated with narrow-field zoom cameras.
Laser Rangefinder – Up to 1,200 Metres
The integrated laser rangefinder measures precise distances to any point within the camera's field of view at ranges of up to 1,200 metres. This enables GPS coordinate tagging, safe stand-off distance management, and accurate location reporting for inspection findings. The rangefinder fully complements the zoom camera, providing reliable distance measurements throughout its operational range.
Radiometric Thermal Camera – 640 × 512 (H20T Only)
The H20T adds a 640 × 512 radiometric thermal camera, transforming the payload into a complete thermal inspection platform. Radiometric imaging records the actual temperature of every pixel, enabling quantitative analysis for predictive maintenance, formal inspection reporting, and accurate thermal anomaly detection.
Operators can tap any point on the thermal image to obtain an instant surface temperature reading, or select an area to view the minimum, maximum, and average temperatures simultaneously. These measurement tools are essential for electrical inspections, pipeline monitoring, building envelope analysis, and other applications requiring precise thermal assessment.
Integrated User Interface
A new integrated user interface lets the operator quickly switch between wide, zoom, and thermal camera views, and preview the zoom field of view while staying in wide or thermal view. This removes the spatial disorientation caused by switching between separate, non-integrated sensor feeds during complex inspection and surveillance operations.
Double-clicking on the wide or thermal camera view automatically moves the gimbal to focus on the selected point of interest. The operator identifies the target in the overview feed, and the system repositions the zoom camera automatically without manual gimbal adjustment, speeding up target acquisition during surveillance, search, and inspection missions.
Smart Area Capture
Frame an area of interest in the wide camera view, and the zoom camera automatically captures a set of 20MP images of that zone. The images are stored with an overview wide-camera image, creating a complete, self-contextualising inspection record from a single operator action.
Temperature Monitoring - H20T
The H20T's radiometric thermal capability enables continuous temperature monitoring of assets under thermal load, including electrical substations, pipeline segments, processing vessels, and solar panel arrays. Real-time temperature data appears on the controller alongside the thermal image, turning visual observations into actionable inspection findings.
Active Image Stabilisation and EIS
The H20 Series' 3-axis mechanical gimbal stabilisation and Electronic Image Stabilisation work together to maintain sharp, stable imagery across the full zoom range. At 23× zoom, this combined stabilisation helps preserve image quality for identification, inspection documentation, and evidence-grade surveillance.
The DJI Zenmuse H20 Series carries an IP44 protection rating, protecting the payload against solid particle ingress larger than 1 mm and water splashes from any direction. This supports reliable operation through light rain, coastal humidity, and mixed field exposure.
Learn More ↗The H20 Series operates across a wide -20°C to 50°C temperature range, covering professional field conditions from cold high-altitude survey operations to high-temperature industrial environments where ambient temperatures can exceed 40°C during demanding inspection and survey windows.
Learn More ↗The H20T radiometric temperature measurement function operates across a -10°C to 50°C measurement range, supporting normal thermal inspection workflows while the aircraft and sensor system remain operational across the wider -20°C to 50°C total operating envelope.
Learn More ↗The DJI Zenmuse H20 Series zoom camera includes Night Scene Mode, extending the effective imaging window beyond normal daylight hours. This supports early-morning and late-evening inspection operations, when thermal conditions on electrical infrastructure are often most useful.
Learn More ↗In Night Scene Mode, the zoom camera aperture opens to f/1.6, gathering maximum available light for clearer, lower-noise imagery during pre-dawn inspection flights, overcast survey operations, and dusk thermal inspection windows.
Learn More ↗Combined with the H20T thermal camera, Night Scene Mode enables the payload to function as a complete day-to-dusk inspection system. Operators can capture visible-light structural documentation in reduced light while using thermal imaging for heat anomaly detection.
Learn More ↗Frame an area of interest in the wide camera view, and the zoom camera automatically captures the full 20MP image set of that area and stores it with the wide-camera overview. This enables systematic, comprehensive detail capture from a single operator input.
