What Synchronised Zoom Achieves in Night Operations
In a conventional dual-sensor operation without synchronised zoom, the operator manages two independent camera feeds. The operator must zoom in on the thermal image to identify a heat signature, separately zoom in on the visible image to confirm the subject visually, and then zoom back out on both feeds to restore situational awareness.
Each zoom adjustment requires a separate manual input, and every comparison requires the operator to re-establish visual correspondence between the two feeds. This coordination overhead slows the operational observation workflow.
With synchronised zoom, one input scales both images simultaneously. The thermal and starlight feeds remain matched in magnification and field of view throughout every zoom adjustment. The operator zooms in once and sees both the thermal signature and the starlight visible image of the same subject at the same scale, side by side and at the same time.

Split-Screen Mode
Split-screen display presents the thermal and starlight camera feeds simultaneously in a divided-screen layout. The thermal image appears on one side and the starlight visible image appears on the other, with both displayed at the operator's selected zoom level.
