Licensed Personnel and Flight Permits: Only licensed personnel may conduct operations, and permits are required for flights, with a first-aid kit and fire extinguisher kept on site.
Import Control: Importing, owning or operating a drone requires CAAZ approval; importation is cleared with a CAAZ clearance letter, and foreign operators also obtain a Temporary Import Permit (TIP) from the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority.
